Mookie Betts hit a bases clearing double and then scored from second base on an infield single as the Red Sox beat Cincinnati 5-4 Sunday afternoon. The win, combined with a Yankee loss, puts the Sox up five games on New York with seven games to play.

The Sox close in on history - winning consecutive AL titles for the first time ever.

In this one, the Sox trailed 4-1 in the 8th inning. That's when they got three runners on base and Betts cleared the bases. He now has 99 RBI.

Then Rafael Devers hit an infield single and when the Reds first baseman had to stretch out and go off-balance Betts kept running around third base and scored the go-ahead run.

Addison Reed and Craig Kimbrel pitched the 8th and 9th to shut the door on the Reds.
