Mookie Betts had one of those Mookie Betts nights - two home runs, a triple, six RBI as the Red Sox blasted the lowly Oakland A's 11-1 Tuesday night.

Combine that with a Yankee loss to Tampa Bay and the Sox have a four game lead in the AL East with 18 games to play.

Betts is the first Boston player ever to have 20 homers and 20 steals in back-to-back seasons.

While the Sox were racking up 16 hits against A's pitching, Eduardo Rodriguez was pitching six innings of one-hit ball. He walked four but struck out nine. E-Rod gets his fifth win.
