MMA Football Coach’s Show 10-5

Maine Maritime Academy's Head Football Coach Chris McKenney joined WDEA's Chris Popper on Monday, October 5th for the MMA Football Coach's Show. Coach McKenney talked about the team's tough loss to the Coast Guard on October 3rd. He explained that they had opportunities to win the game, but just were unable to convert enough times when they were in the red zone.

MMA had 403 rushing yards and had the ball the vast majority of the game, nearly 42 minutes compared to Coast Guards 18 minutes, but in the end they lost 21-14.

Coach McKenney talked about the bye week this upcoming week, the practice schedule, and briefly previewed the next game, on October 17th when they host Western New England at Ritchie Field.
