It's Wednesday, and that means it's time for another installment of the Maine Maritime Basketball Coach's Shows.

The Men's Basketball team is now 1-6 after falling to Bowdoin College 71-49 last night. Former Ellsworth Eagle Nick Holt had 15 points, sinking 5 3-pointers, and Tyler Thayer from Hermon, playing point guard had 9 points, 5 rebounds and two assists.

WDEA's Chris Popper spoke with Head Coach David Muchnick, and got his take on last night's game, as well as the Mariner's loss to Husson on Saturday the 6th. What went right, what went wrong, and a preview of the games this coming weekend at home against Castleton, Friday at 7:30 PM and Green Mountain on Saturday at 3 PM.

The Maine Maritime Academy Women's team defeated UMaine Machias last night 88-31 to improve to 2-4 on the season. Former Nokomis Warrior Mary Badeen had a double-double with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 7 steals and 6 assists!

WDEA's Chris Popper spoke with Head Coach Craig Dagan, and got his take on last night's vicotry as well as the loss to Husson on Saturday. Coach Dagan was on the road, en route to watch some potential recruits play, and talked about the recruiting process, a night when the women didn't have to play 40 minutes, and previewed this weekend's games against Castleton Friday night at 5:30 PM and Green Mountain Saturday at 1 PM.
