The body of a Lamoine woman, who's been missing for nearly two weeks, was located by a Maine Marine Patrol pilot.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department reports Lorelei Leslie's body was found just after 10 a.m. Monday resting along the shore, off the West Shore Road in Sorrento. Her body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta for an autopsy to determine cause of death.

The 57-year-old has been the subject of a search since Thursday, Oct. 20. Involved in the effort were the Hancock County Sheriff's Department, Maine State Police, Maine Warden Service, Maine Marine Patrol, and Down East Emergency Management Institute.
