Two of the three men wanted in connection with the robbery of a medical marijuana patient turned themselves in on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, police had released the men's names and asked for the public's help in locating them.

Police say three men dressed as members of law enforcement and entered the Winterport property where a medical marijuana patient grew their pot. When the owner confronted them verbally, the men grabbed armloads of plants and ran. One of the men was armed with a handgun. The whole incident was captured by surveillance cameras.

Earlier this week, State Police released pictures that clearly showed two of the men and asked for the public's help identifying them. After receiving many calls, police sent out a press release yesterday, identifying the men and asking for the public's help once again in locating them.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that the two men, Jeff Hurd and Scott Roberts walked into the lobby of the Waldo County Jail in Belfast at around 9:00 Wednesday night and surrendered. They had been dropped off at the jail and are cooperating with police.

McCausland says police now know the identity of the third robber. An arrest warrant will likely be issued for him this week.
