The MDI Volleyball Team played host to Greely and Gorham on Saturday at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor and ended up losing both matches. The Trojans were swept 3-0 by Greely and lost 3-1 to Gorham.

According to MDI Coach Corey Papadopoli

MDI played a pair of tough matches on Saturday losing both but coming away with a strong focus as we head toward the playoffs.  Unforced errors were costly in both matches.  Service errors and hitting errors piled up more quickly for us than our opponents.  I felt like we had some really great swings today and hit harder than both teams but lack of discipline in transition cost us too many points.  The missed serves made it hard to sustain momentum.  But the girls played well, showed grit, and they were great matches to watch.  We know what we have to do moving forward and we’ll be working hard from here on out.
