MDI Volleyball Beats Cony 3-0

The MDI Volleyball Team opened the 2014 season against the Cony Rams in Bernard Paradis Gymnasium on Saturday, September 6th, and opened it the right way, with a 3-0 win over the Cony Rams.

The game scores were  25-14, 25-18, 25-20. According to Coach Corey "The biggest takeaway is that we really showed our depth today.  MDI used 3 different lineups with everyone playing and contributing.  It was a good match with lots of positive energy and hustle.  While we still have things to work on, we like the place from which we are starting."

Camilla Thomassen-Tai: 8 aces, 12 rotation points, 22 service receptions

Elise Robertson: 4 kills, .667 hitting

MDI (1-0) plays at Ellsworth High School (1-0) on Thursday, September 11th at 5 PM. Ellsworth defeated Cony, Saturday, September 6th 3-1.
