MDI Track and Field Sweeps Hancock County Championships in Bucksport

Championship Season began on Friday, for the Outdoor Track and Field Teams, with the Hancock County Track and Field Championship held at Bucksport High School.

On the Boys side, MDI finished 1st with 209 points. GSA was 2nd with 168 points. Ellsworth was 3rd with 104 points, Sumner Memorial High School was 4th with 43 points, Bucksport High School was 5th with 29 points and Deer-Isle Stonington was 6th with 20 points.  To see all the individual Boys Results Click Here

On the Girls side, MDI finished 1st with 222 points. George Stevens Academy was 2nd with 139 points. Ellsworth was 3rd with 124 points, Bucksport 4th with 42 points and Sumner Memorial High School finished 5th with 3 points. To see all the individual Girls Results Click Here

Up next are the PVC Championships. MDI and Ellsworth will compete in the Large School Championship at Brewer High School on Friday, May 25th with the meet starting at 3:30 PM. Bucksport, GSA and Sumner, along with individuals from Deer Isle-Stonington will compete at the Small School Championship at Caribou High School on Saturday, May 26th starting at 11AM
