MDI Sweeps Cony 3-0

The MDI Volleyball Team finished their regular season 13-1 with a sweep of Cony in Augusta on Monday, October 21st, winning the games 25-19, 25-12, 25-20. The Trojans finish the regular season in 2nd place in the Heal Points.

From Coach Corey:

"Once again we got solid help from the entire team and closed out the regular season with a sweep against Cony.  We’ve been working on getting the offense involved more effectively and did a good job of that today.  We tried a few things out rotationally and everyone contributed to this win.  We’re now looking forward to preparing for the playoffs"

MDI will play an exhibition against Yarmouth at Yarmouth on Tuesday night in preparations for the playoffs. Yarmouth is the #1 seed in Class B, with a 13-1 record.

MDI will host a quarterfinal playoff game on Saturday, October 25th. They will play the winner of the prelim game on Thursday, between #10 Kennebunk (5-9) and #7 Ellsworth (7-6)
