MDI Sweeps Cheverus – Up Next Greely

The MDI Volleyball Team swept the Cheverus Lady Stags on Thursday afternoon, winning their playoff prelim in straight sets. The individual game scores were 25-12, 25-6, 25-18.

MDI will now play #2 seed Greely, in Cumberland Center on Saturday October 24th at 7 PM. These two teams didn't meet in the regular season.

Here's Coach Corey's take on the game

It was a lot of fun to watch the girls play last night, which means they were doing something right. And in fact, I think they did many things right. They served tough, passed well, and played great defense. They also took some great swings. So it was good for our last home game to end on a good note with a strong finish. Now we're looking forward to Greely Saturday night and will make whatever adjustments we can in tonight's practice.
