A great season unfortunately came to an end for the MDI Trojans as they lost to Winslow at Winslow 3-0 in the Clas B North Quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 25th.

The Trojans, who came into the playoffs riding a 4 game winning streak beat Old Town in the prelim game on October 21st also beat Ellsworth for the 1st time in over a decade during the regular season.

In the game against Winslow, the two teams were scoreless until there was 16:09 remaining in the 1st half, when Jake Warn found the back of the net. Warn tallied another goal with 11:49 remaining in the half, to give Winslow a 2-0 lead.

The Black Raiders added an insurance goal in the 2nd Half, when Matt Phillips scored with 21:49 remaining.

The Trojans had a few chances, but were never able to find the back of the net.

MDI ends the season with a 7-7-2 record.
