MDI Shuts Out John Bapst 8-0

The MDI Trojans shutout John Bapst Wednesday afternoon, May 6th in Bar Harbor, defeating the Crusaders 8-0.

Haley Littlefield pitched a complete game shutout, striking out 12, while just allowing 2 hits and walking 3. She helped her own cause at the plate, going 2-3, with RBI and scoring a run. Avalon Kerley was 2-4, with a triple and 2 RBIs. Darcy Kanu was 1-2, Ali Bierman was 1-2, Cassidy Parady was 1-2, with a triple and 2 RBIs.

For John Bapst Kayla Massey gave up 8 runs, 4 of which were earned. She struck out 1, walked 3 and allowed 7 hits. Madison Higgins was 1-3 and Maliyan Binette was 1-3.

MDI is now 3-5, they play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9th in Caribou. John Bapst, is now 3-3 and they play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9th in Presque Isle.
