MDI Shuts Out Bucksport 3-0

The MDI Boy's Baseball team defeated the Bucksport Golden Bucks 3-0 on Tuesday, May 24th in Bar Harbor. The Trojans are now 6-8 with 2 regular season games remaining.

Matt Perconti pitched 6 innings for the Trojans allowing 7 hits and walking 3. Riley Swanson pitched the 7th with a strikeout and didn't allow a hit.

For Bucksport Tanner Stegner and Noah Lenor had 2 hits, Matt Vincent, Chase, Carmichael, Dustin Colson and Jacob Ames each had a hit.

Seth Young had 2 hits, a double and single. Ezra Johnson and Riley Swanson had singles for the Trojans.

MDI plays John Bapst at the University of Maine on Saturday, May 28th at 1 PM and then their final home game, Senior Day against Ellsworth on Tuesday, June 1st at 4:30 in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio

Bucksport is 5-8 and plays host to GSA on Thursday May 26th, at Dexter on Friday, May 27th and then at Sumner on Tuesday, June 1st.
