MDI Rotary Needs Your Help

The MDI Rotary Club needs some help this 4th of July! The Bar Harbor/MDI Rotary Club will host the 44th Annual 4th of July Seafood Festival and Pancake Breakfast on the Bar Harbor Athletic Field. Breakfast begins at 6AM and Lunch begins at 11AM.

Think about all the Rotary Club does for the Community! Long after the festival is over proceeds will continue to benefit the local community throughout the year. The MDI Rotary Club raises between $15,000 and $20,000 annually at the Festival, with proceeds going to charitable donations and service projects. Rotarians also coordinate participation by other local nonprofits around the athletic field. Those nonprofits raise close to $50,000!

So do you want to have fun with a bunch of goofy, lovely people serving up some community cheer on the holiday that's about our country being born as a community, then the MDI Rotary wants you! Shifts available are: Breakfast 6:30 - 9:30; Lunch 11:00 - 2:00; clean up 2:00-3:30. Or any part of those shifts. Positions consist of cooking pancakes, tending the dining tent, preparing various food items at lunch, shucking corn, and various other duties.
