MDI Places 12 All State Jazz

27 MDI High School musicians went to the University of Maine Augusta on October 23rd, to audition for the All State Jazz groups. This was the largest group that the high school ever had to audition!

Today, October 30th, MDI High School was pleased to announce that of the 27, 12 students were selected to for the All State Jazz groups. The High School is tied for the largest representation!

Nathan Stanley (Baritone Saxophone, Jazz Band)

Hannah Edgecomb (Lead Trumpet, Jazz Band)

Lucas Wood (Lead Trombone, Jazz Band)

Adam Christianson (2nd Trombone, Jazz Band)

Pierce Vincenty (Bass Trombone, Jazz Band)

Thistle Swann (Soprano, SATB Choir)

Ben Watson (Guitar, SATB Choir)

Devin Christianson (Trumpet, SATB Choir)
