MDI Impresses In Exhibition With Bangor [PHOTOS]

The MDI Girl's Basketball Team is going to be a fun team to watch this season, if they can play with the intensity they displayed at Red Berry Gymnasium against Bangor High School on Thursday, December 1st.

The Trojans are a relatively young team, with 6 sophomores on it, but they played a tight scramble defense against Bangor. As the girls continue to gel, they are going to be a dangerous team.

At the end of the 1st Half, MDI led 14-13. At the end of the 3rd Quarter Bangor led 25-20 and the end of the 4th Quarter saw Bangor on top 45-33. The two teams played a bonus 5th quarter, and MDI outscored Bangor 24-11.

MDI opens the season on Friday December 9th when they play host to Old Town at 7 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio
