MDI Hospital – Cardiac Care Rehabilitation Unit [VIDEO]

February is American Heart Month, and Mount Desert Island Hospital is teaming up with WDEA to try and bring awareness about Heart Month, ways to make your heart healthier and what happens if you have a cardiac incident.

WDEA's Chris Popper visited Sarah McEachern the coordinator of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at MDI Hospital. McEachern explained about referrals to the Unit, what goes on during rehabilitation, as well as the benefits of going through rehab surrounded by loved ones.

McEachern also told Popper about the hospital's effort to have members of the community come to the 2nd floor of MDI Hospital wearing red this Friday, February 5th at 12 Noon. There will be a photo taken at 12 Noon for Wear Red Day!
