MDI Girls Defeat Hampden

The MDI Girls traveled to Hampden, Saturday morning, November 23rd to play the Hampden Broncos in the first preseason basketball game for both squads. The teams decided to play 5 quarters, with the score reset after each quarter.

MDI defeated Hampden in all 5 quarters 13-9, 18-8, 17-7, 12-7, 14-11. The total score was MDI 74- Hampden 42.

For MDI Sara Phelps was the leading scorer with 24 points, including 3 threes. For Hampden, Kayla Gagner was the leading scorer with 9 points.
