MDI Comes Out on Top In Battle of Trojans on Saturday 3-1

The MDI Volleyball Team improved to 3-3 on the season with a 3-1 victory over Thorndike Academy on Saturday in Bar Harbor. The individual set scores were 25-12, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19.

After losing the match against Washington Academy on Thursday 3-1,  with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 30-28, 25-22 Coach Corey Papadopoli and the team held a team meeting and Friday afternoon's promise ahead of the Thornton Academy game was great!

The girls came out swinging.  They played very well, passing great, hitting well, and playing very scrappy defense.  It was great to watch and while we still have a long way to go, it feels like we are moving in the right direction.
