MDI Coach’s Show August 16 [VIDEO]

MDI Head Football Coach Mark Arnold joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk about how the 1st week of practices have gone, with 2-a-days. Coach Arnold told Popper about the upcoming weekend at the Schoodic Institute and what was on the agenda. He also talked about tackling, how they are teaching it at MDI and then previewed the controlled scrimmage this Monday, August 20th at Waterville at 11AM.

After the Trojans have the controlled scrimmage with Waterville on Monday, they will share camp with Ellsworth on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 21st and 22nd. Then on Thursday August 23rd, they will have dinner with the Acadian Youth Sports Football Teams and then have a walk through in preparation for the exhibition game in Bar Harbor against Ellsworth on Friday, August 24th. That night they will wear their new uniforms and helmets for the 1st time! Pregame will begin at 6:40 and kickoff at 7PM on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.
