The MDI Boy's Soccer Team took the long ride up to Caribou on Labor Day, Monday September 5th and came away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings. The MDI Boys are now 1-0-1 on the season.

Joe Grubb scored the 1st goal of the game, at the 38:46 mark (1:14 elapsed), assisted by Griffin Maristany.

MDI added to the lead, with 33:25 remaining in the 1st Half, when Jake Ressel found the back of the net.

Caribou cut the lead in half with 12:48 remaining in the 1st Half, when Alex Ezzy scored.

Grubb scored again in the 2nd Half, with just 2:48 remaining in the game, assisted again by Maristany.

That made the final 3-1.

MDI, now 1-0-1 plays at the University of Maine on Wednesday, September 7th at 4 PM against the John Bapst Crusaders.

Caribou, now 1-3 plays at Old Town on Saturday, September 10th at 3 PM.
