MDI Boy’s Tennis Sweeps Presque Isle

The 8th seeded MDI Boy's Tennis Team swept the 9th seeded Presque Isle Wildcats, Tuesday afternoon, May 31st in Bar Harbor on a bright sunny day, with temperatures in the mid 80's. The win, moves the Trojans into the Quarterfinals, where they will play at John Bapst, the number 1 seed on Thursday afternoon. Here are the results.....

#1 Singles Kaleb Payson defeated Denny Young 6-2, 6-2
#2 Singles Teddy Geary defeated Byron Wilson 6-2, 6-4
#3 Singles Drake Janes defeated Andre Daigle 6-2, 6-3
#1 Doubles Jimmy Carroll and Max Craigo defeated Colin Daigle and Jordin Bonville 1-6, 7-5, 6-4
#2 Doubles Gabe Michaels and Derek Collins defeated Mason Young and Tyler Ayotte 7-6 (7-4 tiebreaker), 6-2
#3 Doubles Bryce DiMauro and Ryan Kelly defeated Gage Young and Austin Moreau 8-2

MDI is now 8-5 while Presque Isle finishes their season at 8-5.
