MDI Boy’s Soccer Falls to Washington Academy

The MDI Boy's Soccer Team played host to the Washington Academy Raiders and came up just a little short, falling to Washington Academy 3-1.

Washington Academy took the lead, scoring off of a corner kick with 24:36 remaining in the 1st Half. MDI tied the score 1-1, three minutes later, when Joe Grubb found the back of the net on a penalty kick.

In the 2nd Half, Oneko Lowe scored 2 goals for the Raiders, to give Washington Academy the victory.

MDI is now 2-2-1 and travel up to Presque Isle to play the Wildcats on Saturday, September 17 at 3 PM.

Washington Academy is 2-0 and plays host to Bucksport on Thursday, September 15th at 4 PM.
