The MDI Trojans Boys Soccer Team fell to the Mount View Mustangs 4-1 in Bar Harbor on Saturday, October 6th.

The two teams battled to a scoreless draw at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half Mount View scored first with just 1:57 elapsed in the half, when Cassidy Pound found the back of the net. The Mustangs made it 2-0 on a goal by Elijah Allen with 30:32 remaining.

MDI cut the lead in half, when Leao Nelson scored with 29:48 remaining, assisted by Reider Watson.

Mount View added insurance goals with 9:14 remaining, by Andre Savoy and then 2ith 2:21 remaining by Noah Jacobs.

Nate Philbrook was in goal for MDI and Ricky Nelson was in goal for Mount View.

MDI is now 4-6-1 with 3 games remaining in the season. They play at Belfast on Tuesday, October 9th at 3:30, at home on Senior Recognition Night against Foxcroft Academy on Thursday, October 11th at 4PM and then the final game of the regular season at Ellsworth on Monday, October 15th at 6PM.

Mount View is a perfect 10-0 on the season. They play at MCI on Monday, October 8th at 10AM
