MDI Boys Finish 2nd in Eastern Maine X-Country

The MDI Boy's Cross Country Team is peaking at the right time, at the end of the season, as they finished 2nd in the Eastern Maine Class B Cross Country Meet at the Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast on Saturday, October 25th. As a result of the finish, the boys team will run in the State Cross Country Meet next Saturday, November 1st at the Troy Howard Middle School at 2 PM.

The Boys finished just 3 points behind Caribou. The 8 teams from the East advancing to the State finals are 1- Caribou, 2- MDI, 3- Camden Hills, 4- Belfast, 5- Erskine Academy, 6- Old Town, 7- Presque Isle and 8- Winslow.

The individual winner was Chris Cote from Waterville with a time of 17:12.94. Ellsworth's top finisher was freshmen Matt Frost who finished 40th with a time of 19:26.04
