The MDI Boy's Soccer Team took the long road up I-95 to Caribou to play the Vikings in a Class B Soccer Quarterfinal and came away on the short end, losing 4-2.

Caribou scored with just 48 seconds elapsed as Alex Ezzy scored with an assist from Tommy Pinnette.

The Vikings added 2 more goals in the 1st half. The 2nd goal came with 27:18 left in the half, when Austin Findlen scored with an assist from Ethan Holdsworth. The next goal was scored by Ezzy, via a penalty kick with 12:08 left in the Half to make the score 3-0.

Caribou scored their final goal with 30:53 remaining, this time from Holdsworth with an assist from Pinnette, his 2nd of the game.

Although down 4-0 MDI never gave up. They scored their first goal with 15:48 remaining in the game thanks to September Murray with an assist from Ieuan Howell. The final goal was scored by Leao Nelson with 7:27 remaining in the game.

MDI finishes the season with a 6-8-2 record.

Caribou advances to the semifinals with a 13-1-1 record.
