MDI Boys 2nd Ellsworth 5th In Indoor Track and Field

The MDI Boy's Indoor Track and Field Team finished 2nd and Ellswoth 5th in the Indoor Track and Field Meet at the UMaine Field House on Saturday, January 28th The Top 8 Team Rankings in Class A were 1. Brewer 2. MDI 3. Hermon 4. Orono 5. Ellsworth 6. Washington Academy 7. Sumner 8. Mattanawcook Academy

Highlights include MDI's 4x800 Meter Relay Team finishing 2nd. In the Boy's 1 Mile Run Matthew Shea and Matt Frost from Ellsworth finished 1st and 2nd. In the Boy's 400 Meter Dash MDI's Griffin Maristany and Liam Higgins finished 1st and 2nd. In the Boy's 800 Meter Dash Josh Bloom finished 2nd. In the Boy's 200 Meter Dash MDI's Griffin Maristany, Jose Chumbe and Liam Higgins finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th while Ellsworth's Atticus Deeny finished 5th. In the Boy's 2 Mile Run Ellsworth's Matthew Shea finished 1st. In the 4x200 Meter Relay MDI finished 1st. In the Shot Put, MDI's Michah Hallett, Sam Hoff and Gilbert Isaacs finished 3rd, 4th and 5th. In the Boy's Triple Jump Ellsworth's Atticus Deeny finished 2nd and in the Boy's High Jump Deandre Reid finished 2nd.
