MDI – Best and Brightest Class of 2013

Congratulations to the MDI Class of 2013 and the Valedictorian Stephanie Calas and Salutatorian Keegan McKim.

Class of 2013 Valedictorian, Stephanie Calas of Bar Harbor, has been a strong participant in MDIHS music and drama programs including fall musicals, award winning show choir performances and All-State competitions. Stephanie's pursuit of her passion as an equestrian has included personal riding lessons, employment as a stable manager and volunteer services in therapeutic riding programs. Stephanie will attend Mount Holyoke in the fall.

Keegan McKim of Trenton is the Class of 2013 Salutatorian. During his high school career, Keegan has been a strong and positive contributor to MDIHS sports programs as a member of the soccer, baseball, basketball and golf teams. Volunteering with the Acadian Baseball League and peer tutoring of classmates have been important facets of Keegan's high school years. He will major in Engineering at the University of Maine.
