The MDI Trojans returned home to Bar Harbor and were the ungracious host, defeating the previously unbeaten Hermon Hawks 44-6. The 4th Quarter was played under running time.

MDI won the coin toss, and the Trojans took over on the Hermon 30 yard line. 8 plays and 3:21 later, Elijah Joyce ran in from 1 yard out to put the Trojans on the scoreboard. Colby Lee ran in for the 2 point conversion and MDI led 8-0 with 8:29 remaining in the 1st Quarter.

Hermon took over on their own 17 yard line, and were forced to punt, going 3 and out. MDI took over on their own 39 yard line with 6 minutes remaining in the 1st Quarter.

It took the Trojans 6 plays and 2:17 to reach the end zone again. Colby Lee ran in from 1 yard out. Andrew Phelps ran in for the 2 point conversion, and with 3:43 remaining in the 1st Quarter the Trojans were up 16-0.

Hermon took over on their own 41 and the Trojans forced a fumble. Colby Lee recovered and the Trojans had the ball on their own 48 yard line with 49.7 seconds left in the 1st Quarter.

6 plays and 2:22 later, Colby Lee scampered in from 35 yards out into the end zone. Billy Kerley ran in for the 2 point conversion, and with 9:49 left in the 1st Half MDI was up 24-0.

MDI would score once more in the 1st Half, this time via the pass. Andrew Phelps lofted a pass to Colby Lee that went for 42 yards. This time the 2 point conversion was no good, and MDI led 30-0.

Hermon scored their lone points with 3.9 seconds remaining, via the air, as Tyler Carmichael caught a 2 yard pass from Garrett Trask. The 2 point conversion was no good and MDI led 30-6 at the end of the 1st Half.

Hermon started the 2nd Half with the ball, but Nick Corson intercepted the ball and MDI converted the turnover. Andrew Phelps lofted a 29 yard pass to Billy Kerley for the score. The 2 point conversion was good, and with 8 minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter, MDI was up 38-6.

The final points were scored with 1:38 remaining in the 3rd Quarter. Colby Lee ran for 45 yards out, scoring his 4th touchdown of the night. The 2 point conversion was no good, making the final 44-6.

MDI intercepted Trask 3 times, with Corson, Elijah Joyce and James McConomy all registering picks. Combined with Lee's fumble, the MDI defense forced 4 turnovers. The defense was huge for MDI, as they also had a goal line stand, denying the Hawks when they were 1 yard out  to force a turnover on downs.
