The MDI Trojan's Volleyball Team evened their record on Tuesday, September 15th with a 3-0 victory at Bucksport. The individual game scores were 25-10, 25-6, 25-6.

According to Coach Corey Papadopoli

MDI wanted to come out and play strong, building on its first win on Saturday, and it did.  The team served, passed, and hit well.  Everyone played and the team worked hard in transition to score points.  Serving and miscommunication were our Achilles heel in our two losses and the girls have been working hard to fix those things.  They served over 90% on the day and hit .323 as a team, both excellent numbers.  We’re hoping to build on that moving forward as we face WA on Thursday.

The Trojans have gone 2-1 since Saturday, with victories over Cheverus and Bucksport and a loss to Cape Elizabeth. They have 2 more games remaining this week against Washington Academy and Thornton Academy. They talked about the difficulty of playing 5 games in 8 days, and the importance of conditioning.
