MDI and Ellsworth Winter Sports Information Meetings

With all but regional and state football titles still to be decided, the fall sport's season is almost over, and attention begins to turn to the winter sports season. The first countable games for Winter Sports begin on Friday, December 7th. Both MDI and Ellsworth High Schools have set their winter sports informational meetings. Details are below....

MDI High School

Winter athletic informational meeting will be held on Thursday, November 15 for the following sports:
Wrestling
Swimming
Indoor Track
Boys & Girls Basketball

5:30-6:20 - Any new students and parents who didn't attend the fall meeting must attend this session in order to participate this season. The meeting will be held in the library. This meeting is to go over the extracurricular policy, requirements, paperwork, expectations, etc. After this meeting, you will go to the sports meetings listed below.

6:30-7:30 - For all students and parents who are interested in participating in the above sports.
Coaches will go over paperwork, expectations, extracurricular policy, schedules, etc.
Boys Basketball will meet in the gym
Girls Basketball will meet in the Library
Swimming will meet in the Cafeteria
Wrestling will meet in room 132
Indoor Track will meet in room 108-110.

Due to an MPA coaching conflict cheering will meet on Wednesday, November 14 in room 132 starting at 6:00.

All new students and juniors must have an up to date physical in order to start on November 19.

Ellsworth High School

The Winter Sports Meeting with be held on Wednesday November 14th at 6PM at Katsiaficas Gymnasium.
