MDI 56 Lincoln Academy 35

The MDI Girls jumped out to a 14-2 lead and never looked back, coasting to a 56-35 exhibition win over Lincoln Academy on Friday November 28th in game 2 of the MDI Thanksgiving Tip-Off Tourney.

MDI led 18-5 at the end of the 1st Quarter, 29-12 at the half, 41-25 after the 3rd Quarter before winning 56-35.

MDI was led by Sierra Tapley with 16 points including a 3-pointer and Kelsey Shaw had 11 points. Lincoln Academy was led by Gabrielle Weger with 8 points including a 3 pointer.

In the 1st game of the Tip Off Tourney, Ellsworth defeated Lake Region 41-28.

Game 3 was to pit Ellsworth against Lincoln Academy before MDI would play Lake Region in the 4th and final game of the day.
