Bangor Man Versus Mammoth Icicle

I have seen these gigantic icicles around my neighborhood but he's the first guy I've seen take one on.

I am not sure if it is more damaging to break them off or leave them. The man named Mark in the video says he saw them to this at the University of Maine so maybe he knows something I don't know.

Regardless, I think it's a little crazy after dropping the 50 lb. chunk of ice he hopes no one was standing down there.

Mainers...we are a different breed, you gotta say.
