Maine Drama Festival at MDIHS

The Eastern Maine Regional of the Maine Drama Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, March 10th and 11th at MDI High School in Bar Harbor. 9 schools are competing, including MDI High School, Deer Isle-Stonington High School, Hampden High School, Shead High School, Sumner Memorial High School, Belfast Area High School, Bangor High School, Washington Academy and Brewer High School.

The One Act Plays begin at the hour, and tickets per session (series of 3 plays) are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and students. Photography and videotaping is prohibited during the competitions. Cell phones should be turned off.

Saturday March 11th Afternoon Session
12 Noon Shead High School - "Superhero Sanitarium"
1 PM Sumner Memorial High School - "Unaccepted"
2 PM Belfast Area High School - "The Nine Worst Breakups of All Time"

Saturday March 11th Evening Session
6 PM Bangor High School - "Beware the Jabberwock"
7 PM Washington Academy -"That's Not How I Remember It"
8 PM Brewer High School - "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)
