Lot Closures in Acadia National Park Wednesday September 13th

Acadia National Park has announced that two parking lots will be temporarily closed today, September 13th for maintenance.

Paving crews will temporarily close the Upper Sand Beach parking area and Norumbega parking area on Route 198 to seal cracks in the pavement. The lots will reopen once the sealant dries

Planning ahead, the summit road to Cadillac Mountain will be closed on Saturday, September 23rd iIn connection with the Acadia Night Sky Festival and Cadillac Star Party. The Cadillac Summit Road will close to all traffic at 6:45 PM, except for those that need parking for persons with disabilities. The event is scheduled to end at 11 PM. Access to the summit will be available from free shuttles leaving from MDI High School on the 23rd.
