My son Collin is back on the Appalachian Trail, and is presently in Luray, Virginia today, May 27th. He's been back on the trail now for 12 days, and he's seen a lot of beautiful sights in Virginia. Life on the AT Trail is hard for hikers. You carry everything with you, from tents to food to clothes to garbage. So when you get into town, well, it's time to resupply, do laundry, shower and throw away the garbage.

When it's laundry day you want to wash everything you can! Which means there are some awkward photos like this!
