The Bucksport Girl's Soccer Team fell to the Orono Red Riots 4-3 on Wednesday, September 7th in Orono.

The Lady Bucks scored 1st when Hannah Ashmore scored with 31:22 remaining in the 1st Half with an outside shot.

Orono then took a 2-1 lead, as Becky Lopez Anido scored two quick goals, just 16 seconds apart. Both goals were unassisted and came with 24:39 and 24:23 remaining in the 1st Half.

Bucksport tied the score 2-2 as Tine Hjelle found the back of the net with 14:53 remaining in the Half.

Orono made it 3-2 in the 1st Half, when Elise Kenney scored a goal off of a loose ball right in front of the Bucksport goal.

Late in the 2nd Half, with 14:30 remaining, Hjelle scored her 2nd goal of the game, unassisted to tie the game at 3-3.

Orono scored the game winner with 4:31 remaining, when Brinsley Chasse scored off of a penalty shot.

Bucksport is now 1-1 and will play host to Sumner Memorial High School on Friday, September 9th at 4 PM.

Orono is now 1-0 and plays host to Central on Friday, September 9th at 4 PM. a
