Kevin Mannix Out on Newscenter in Morning

After 20 plus years, Newscenter  morning weatherman Kevin Mannix is being replaced. Mannix will be replaced by Todd Gutner who rejoins the Newscenter team after being in Massachusetts. Mannix will be shifted to the noon newscast.

It is with a mix of sadness and excitement that I announced my departure from The Morning Report this morning.My last morning will be this Friday. I will take a week off then see you Mon-Fri on NEWS CENTER At Noon with the weather forecast.This change while unexpected and sooner than I would have liked it will allow more time for me to launch a new series of reports that will tackle different topics around "Shame and Stigma".We welcome your suggestions on Topics.It also allows Linda and I to contiune to write a book with much more detail around our journey's that we touched on with Kevin's story. This change is a huge opportunity for all of us here at NEWS CENTER to make a difference with an open,honest,and compassionate dialogue around some really hard issues. I am so proud of the commitment of the station to expand and continue what Linda and I started last September.Join us all week on the Morning Report as we look back on our time together.Thanks for all the nice comments already sent my way
