New Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly came off the disabled list in time to make his start against the Yankees and help the Sox beat New York 8-4.Kelly was dominant from the start and reached the high 90's on the radar gun several times during his 7 inning performance. He allowed just 1 hit, struckout 8 and walked just 2. At one point Kelly retired 17 straight Yankee batters.

Much of the offense was provided by Brock Holt who played for the first time this season. Holt collected 3 hits and 3 rbi from the leadoff position. Daniel Nava added 2 hits and 2 rbi.

Boston will go for the series sweep Sunday night when Clay Buchholz takes the mound. That game will be on AM 1370 WDEA with the pregame starting at 7:20 and first pitch at 8 PM.

After the game catcher Ryan Hanigan talked about the performance of Kelly.
