Johnston Excelling at FSU

Former MDI standout Leila Johnston is coming into her own at Florida State University! The freshman at FSU swam a personal record in the Georgia Invite in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 54.93 and earned a second in the race with a time of 55.06

In the most recent meet, January 8-9 at Louisville, Leila swam in 4 events, finishing 2nd in all the races. Johnston swam in the 400 Yard Medley Relay on the FSU A Team, which placed 2nd.  She also swam in the 200 Yard Medley Relay on the FSU A Team which placed 2nd. She was 2nd in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly, and 2nd in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay for the FSU A Team.
