Former UMaine goalie Jimmy Howard recently surprised a fan and brought her to tears.Howard, now with the Detroit Red Wings was part of a special night for a cancer patient that was put together by the team. After a private dinner at Joe Lewis Arena, 20 year old Kelly Rothe was given a tour of the Red Wings locker room when Howard, her favorite player made a surprise appearance.
