The Husson University Eagles routed New England College on Saturday afternoon 5-1 at Boucher Field in the North Atlantic Conference opener.

Former Ellsworth Eagle Josh Bean had an assist and was responsible for a second goal. The second goal occurred when Bean threw the ball in via a flip throw and the ball bounced off the artificial turf without any player touching it. The Pilgrim goalie, Tenzin Khenrab, misplayed the ball and it went into the back of the net for a own goal.

Former Ellsworth Eagle Brady White made his first collegiate appearance logging 16 minutes and playing well.

Former Ellsworth Eagle Mike Curtis started and played the entire game anchoring the Husson University defense.

Husson now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play will be at Colby-Sawyer for a conference game on Saturday, September 26th.
