The Husson University Eagles swept 2 doubleheaders from Colby Sawyer this past weekend, March 28-29 and are now 6-0 in the North Atlantic Conference and 8-7 overall this year.

On Saturday, Husson won 6-1 and 9-0. In game 1, former Ellsworth Eagle and senior catche went 2-3 with 2 RBI's.

On Sunday, Husson won 6-0 and 6-1. In game 1, former MDI Trojan Steven Hanscom pitched the final inning in relief. Hanscom a first year player for Husson allowed 1 hit and struck out 1.

In game 2,  former MDI Trojan Ben Walls pitched 6 innings to start the game, allowing 3 hits, 1 earned run, and struck out 3. Walls picked up the win, and improved his record to 2-1 on the season. Carter went 1-3 and drove in another run for the Eagles.

Husson is scheduled to host a doubleheader on Tuesday, at 3 and 5:30 against St. Joseph's College.
