Where has the time gone? One of the crazy things about broadcasting high school sports is you see these young children turn into young adults before your eyes. And when they stay locally or your watch them go from adolescents to adults, and they succeed at what they love doing, it's so enjoyable!

Such is the case with Jordan Carter, the senior catcher for Husson University. I have had the pleasure of broadcasting Jordan's baseball, soccer and basketball games at Ellsworth High School, and it's great to watch him have success at Husson.

In Husson's final regular season games on Tuesday, April 14th, against Bowdoin, Carter went 1-3 in game one, a 1-0 extra inning (9) victory. MDI alum's Dennis O'Neil pitched 8 scoreless innings, striking out 6, walking 2 and allowing 4 hits. Steven Hanscom pitched a scoreless 9th for his first collegiate win!

In Game 2, Husson lost 11-5. Carter, played Designated Hitter and went 2-4, with 1 RBI and he scored a run.

Husson is now 13-3 in NAC play, and 18-12 overall. Husson is scheduled to play two doubleheaders this weekend at Lyndon State, on Saturday April 18th and 19th
