Former Ellsworth Eagle Tori Huntley was instrumental as the St. Joseph's College Monks defeated Maine Maritime Academy 3-2 in the opening match of the collegiate volleyball season on Wednesday September 2nd

Huntley, who is now a junior, and a member of the Class of 2017 had 6 kills and 17 digs in the 3-2 victory. St. Joseph's College won 25-22, 16-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-13. St Joseph's will play at Lesley University on Saturday, September 5th at 1:00 PM

While at Ellsworth, Huntley played  four years of varsity volleyball.  As a junior she was named captain and was on the all state second team and the PVC all star first team. While a senior she was part of the All State First Team and participated in the senior showcase game…she also led the state in kills, digs, and aces throughout the regular season. She was a  member of the Maine Juniors 18 gold team for two years and she also participated in softball, indoor track, and outdoor track while at EHS.
