How Many Places Are Named Ellsworth Anyways?

I saw on one of our other station's websites, the story "How Many Places Are Named Bangor Anyways?" it got me thinking, "How many places are named Ellsworth?"

According to the website geotargit.com, there are actually 17 places named Ellsworth in the world, all here in the United States! Of course there's Maine, but you can also find an Ellsworth in Conncecticut, Illinoise, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin!

Think that's a lot? There are actually 30 Trentons in the world! There are 27 places named Trenton in the United States, 2 in Canada and 1 in Jamaica!

And if you're from Hancock, you're not alone! There are a total of  20 places named Hancock, all of them right here in the United states!

There's only 1 Somesville! But you can understand why Bar Harbor is no longer called Eden! There are 70 Edens in the world, including 32 in the United States, 4 in Mexico, 3 in the Philippines, Jamaica and Colombia!
