Hottest Ticket Is $8.00!

If you're a basketball fan in Hancock County the hottest ticket Friday night is only $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and students and it's at the Cross Insurance Center!

The price of admission will let you see three great games, featuring the MDI and Ellsworth Basketball Teams! The night kicks off at 5 PM with the first Tournament game at the new Cross Insurance Center when the #3 MDI Boys play the #6 Old Town Coyotes. MDI beat Old Town 60-55 on January 8th and 51-45 on the opening night of the 2013-14 season. Beating the same team three times in one season is a tough task. Will the Trojans be up for the task?

At 6:30 PM the Ellsworth Eagles will play Camden Hills. Ellsworth comes in as the #10 seed after defeating Medomak Valley 47-44 Tuesday night. Camden Hills is the #2 seed and have a 15-3 record. Ellsworth doesn't have a great track record against the Windjammers... Will 2014 be different?

At 8 PM, it's the Battle for Hancock County Part III, as the #3 MDI Trojans will play the #11 Ellsworth Eagles who upset the #6 Oceanside Mariner 50-47 on Tuesday night. MDI defeated Ellsworth twice this season 73-32 on January 3rd and 71-41 on February 6th. Anytime MDI and Ellsworth play, throw out the records, especially in this case where it's winner advance, and the loser's season comes to a crashing close.
