Holt Sparks Sox Win

Brock Holt continues to swing a hot bat coming up with two more hits and scoring three runs to help the Red Sox get a split with Atlanta winning the finale 5-2.Holt cam up with a triple, single and drew a walk and was driven in every time he reached base. Mookie Betts and Alejandro De Aza each added 2 hits and an rbi.

Clay Buchholz was strong on the mound going 7 innings and allowing just 6 hits to pick-up the win.

Boston was without Dustin Pedroia (sore knee) and Pablo Sandoval who was benched for posting on Instagram on Wednesday night during the game, a violation of MLB and Red Sox team rules.

Boston continues its road trip as they start a 3 game series in Kansas City tonight. The pregame begins at 7:25 PM with the first pitch at 8:10 on AM 1370 WDEA. Eduardo Rodriguez takes the mound for the Red Sox.
