A lot of people are without power this morning as the result of a hit and run crash in Hancock County.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s department has the Jeep that crashed into a utility pole this morning on Route 3 in Trenton but the driver wasn't in the vehicle.

The driver took off on foot after the crash but turned up later at the Trenton Marketplace supermarket. He was taken to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are not releasing the man's name because he has not yet been charged with a crime. However, charges are pending.
